Sistema de Pasteurização Flash

SKE-FPS (Flash Pasteurization System) is an established technology of choice to destroy spoilage microorganisms and secure a long product shelf life of hygienically packaged perishable products in the brewery and beverage industries.

SKE-FPS is a pre-assembled, skid-mounted process module for pasteurizing beer or other carbonated products, capable of handling flow changes due to variations in filler demand. It offers accurate control of pasteurization parameters to ensure uniform product treatment.

The benefits of SKE-FPS are

  • Reliable control system that provides a stable product treatment
  • Minimal energy usage
  • Standardized plug-in design ensures a consistent and rapid delivery time
  • Pre-assembly and factory testing of the frame-mounted module requires only a minimum of on-site installation and commissioning
  • Exceptional reliability and low maintenance requirement, keeping downtime to a bare
  • Minimum
  • A state-of-the-art automated control system featuring process control refinements
  • continuously improved
  • A well-structured PLC software allowing for the straightforward integration of the automated control system to a master supervisory system

Buffer Tank

SKE-FPS normally supplies pasteurized product to the filling line via a buffer tank. In case of an interruption in the filling process and the buffer tank is full, the pasteurized product is automatically routed back to the pasteurizer inlet.

The buffer tank is normally sterilized, cooled and pressurized prior to the start of production.

Before filling, any remaining water in the pasteurizer is chased to drain by incoming product.

The drain point is fitted with a backpressure valve to create the required system backpressure during the filling phase.

To avoid unnecessary loss of carbon dioxide or the pick-up of air, the buffer tank is filled from the bottom with product. When a threshold fill level is reached and the outlet filling line is ready for production, the outlet bottom valve opens to feed the filler with product.

A booster pump is located after the buffer tank to provide the required pressure towards the filler. This pump also serves as a CIP return pump during buffer tank cleaning.
