The Brasserie du Singe is a micro-brewery in the Lausanne region created by two friends in 2014. Initially for personal production, the beers quickly became popular and the brewery quickly grew.
We founded our brewery in 2014.Beer lovers for a long time, it was in 2014 during a tasting that Sébastien and Benjamin decided to take the plunge and make their own beer. The two apprentice brewers did their first tests in a 30L tank and developed several recipes for personal production.
In 2015, following a large order, Samuel, who was already helping out, officially joined the team and the tank grew to 100L. After two years of trying out recipes and different methods (low fermentation, high fermentation, tiered fermentation, etc.), three basic recipes were established: a blonde, an IPA and a stout.
Since 2019, we have been brewing regularly in the B2F premises.
This allows us to brew larger quantities at the same time, to be more stable in our production and, with a view to expansion, to be able to test new potential markets.
It was also in 2019 that Aline joined the Brasserie du Singe. Because of her training, she is in charge of communication and social networks. When you place an order with us, she will probably take care of you.
